- Costa Rica’s human capital is its number one strength.
- The sector has expanded to 25 companies and employs 6,300 people.
- The medical devices industry is the 4th biggest exporting sector in the country; its exports have grown 3 times faster than the rest of free trade zone exports. In 2007, it exported $766 million and attracted $150 million in FDI.
